Über die Position
🇩🇪 Aufgaben:
• Diese Position zielt darauf, unsere Finanzen (Einnahmen/Ausgaben) im Blick zu haben und mit Hilfe deiner Team-Mitglieder Übersichten zu erstellen - für den Vorstand, unsere Spender, Mitglieder, Öffentliche Reports und das Finanzamt. Transparenz zählt für uns.
• Hierbei hast du weitere Unterstützer wie unsere Steuerberaterin und den Kassenprüfer mit dabei - jede Arbeit findet im Team statt und wird gewertschätzt.
• Außerdem stellst du Spendenbescheinigungen aus und hast die Finanz- Dokumente u.a. zu Spenderdaten in einer klaren Übersicht. Du entwickelst eine langfristige Strategie für unsere Finanzen, Zb Softwarelösungen oder Projektübersichten.
• Du wirst Teil des Entscheidungsgremiums Vorstand und bestimmst mit über unsere operativen Tätigkeiten mit deinen beiden Kollegen im Board.

• Wir bieten ein kreative, sehr engagierte und facettenreiche Tätigkeit (Projekte in Vietnam, mehrere Stufen und Ziele, multiple-Channel Fundraising Ströme und den Wunsch, alles so transparent wie möglich zu gestalten.
• Du lernst viel zu NGO Arbeit und steigst gleich tief ein. Dazu gehören Kontakte zu internationalen Organisationen wie der GIZ, NGOs in Vietnam und anderen Partnern.
• Auch unterstützen wir Fortbildungsmöglichkeiten. Wir wollen, dass alle die bei Chance To Grow mit dabei sind sich wohl fühlen und selbst auch wachsen können.
Voraussetzungen:
• Ein must-have sind erste Accounting/ Finance Erfahrungen, ein Interesse daran, Kindern in Not in Vietnam Unterstützung zu geben und ein ausgeprägtes Team- Gefühl.
• Idealerweise verfügst du bereits über etwas Charity-Erfahrung, aber das ist kein Must-have.
• Die Stelle ist auf (Ziel - individuell vereinbar) zwei Jahre ausgelegt und setzt hohe Maßstäbe an Transparenz und dein Verantwortungsgefühl voraus.
• Die Wochenarbeitszeit beträgt mindestens zwischen 2-5 Stunden. Darin bist du meist flexibel.
🇬🇧 Responsibilities:
- This position aims to keep track of our finances (income/expenses) and create overviews with the help of your team members - for the Board, our donors, members, Public Reports and the IRS. Transparency counts for us.
- You have other supporters like our tax advisor and the cash auditor with you - every work takes place in a team and is appreciated.
- You also issue donation receipts and have a clear overview of the financial documents, including donor data. You develop a long-term strategy for our finances, Zb software solutions or project overviews.
- You will be part of the decision making committee of the board and you will decide about our operational activities together with your two colleagues in the board.

- We also support training opportunities. We want everyone involved in Chance To Grow to feel comfortable and grow themselves as well.
Requirements:
- A must-have is first accounting/finance experience, an interest in providing support to children in need in Vietnam and a strong team-feeling.
- Ideally you already have some charity experience, but this is not a must-have.
- The position is for (target - individually agreed) two years and requires high standards of transparency and your sense of responsibility.
- The weekly working hours are at least between 2-5 hours. In this you are mostly flexible.

Chance to Grow e.V. has been registered as a charitable NGO since 2009 in Germany and actively helped children and families in Vietnam with many projects since, e.g. in education, medical care, environmental protection, gender equality and more. Our projects aim to help people in having a self-determined life. Chance to Grow also serves as a bridge between people, countries and cultures.
